I’m Matthew Reilly, a licensed California health, life, and group insurance agent. Kings County is dairy, cotton, and nut country that is also home to a major Navy jet base, and I help employers here compare group health plans by phone, video, and text.

Kings County is home to about 152,000 people. It takes its name from the Kings River, which a Spanish expedition in 1805 called the River of the Holy Kings in honor of the Three Wise Men. The county was formed in 1893 from part of Tulare County, with Hanford as its seat. Farmland covers most of the county, and milk is a leading product. Naval Air Station Lemoore, state and county government, food processing, and healthcare are also major employers. Provider networks vary by area, so always confirm your doctors and hospitals are in network.
🏢 What group health options exist for Kings County employers?Carrier Access
Employers in Kings County have access to the broader California small- and large-group market through the carrier network I work with through our vendor partners. Which carriers have active networks in your exact location depends on which hospital systems and medical groups your employees use — I confirm the real, current list for your ZIP code before you ever see a quote, rather than promising specific carrier names up front.
📋 Does group size work differently in Kings County than the rest of California?Group Size
No — the small group (1–50 employees) vs. large group (51+) split, participation minimums, and open enrollment timing are all set at the state and federal level, not the county level. What does change locally is which hospital systems and medical groups are strongest in your employees’ network. See the Coverage Guide for how group size and plan rules work statewide.
🗓️ Win Your Q4 Open Enrollment
👨⚕️ “Fourth-quarter open enrollment moves fast. So do we, with fast quote turnaround when the clock is ticking.”
👩⚕️ “Your census is uploaded securely, and every plan is compared side by side in the Professional Suite before your renewal date lands. When did your current broker last show you the full market?”
🤝 Do I need a local agent, or can you help from outside Kings County?Remote Access
I’m licensed to sell health and life insurance throughout California, and most of my clients handle everything by phone, text, and video — comparing options, signing paperwork, and getting enrolled without ever needing an in-person meeting. Kings County employers get the same attention and the same carrier access as my Orange County clients; I just handle it remotely instead of walking into your office.
